Stone age to Corinium

This talk will put Prehistoric and Roman Cirencester into context. It will focus upon recent archaeological investigations, in and around the town, most of it executed in advance of redevelopment. Two sites, Kingshill North and Old Tetbury Road, will provide new insights into the founding and development of the later Roman town.

The lecture starts at 7.30pm and visitors are welcome £3.00pp

 James Harris is the Collections Officer responsible for the conservation of the artifacts which are on display in the Museum and kept in the Northleach Store. He regularly lectures on a variety of topics.
